榄球之恋（2N, 2008 ND Loss之后)

michigan shows flares of explosiveness in this game. we may still lose many games this season and not going to a bowl, i see a bright future in front of us... loved what i saw in sm and those freshmen wrs, stonums and odoms. very encouraged indeed!

still many things to improve....

threet is not going to be tb or ch, but he'll be alright.. actually i saw a little brady in many of his plays. acuracy needs to get better to give wrs better timing to make a move. now we start to see why he was a 4* recruit in high school.

defense, especially secondary need to improve big time. there are some fundamentals such as positioning that are missing from even the veterans. After MT was burnt for the first td, he backed off too much and that's why nd kept throwing at him for intermediate and short routes. he has the speed but need to keep learning his position. warren is better but not by much, an assumed shutdown corner also got burned by a freshman once. safeties need to get their positioning together too. while they did well stuffing the run, they almost gave zero help defending the passing game.

oline is getting better in front of my eyes. maybe individual wise they are still green. but they understand the scheme better and can keep the dline out of our qb most of the time. that's another good sign.

although it's an ugly loss and it's painful to watch, i am feeling a lot optimistic now.
